Recipe for Happiness
Take one 5 year old boy who loves Scooby Doo (the books, not the show). Add one recipe for any type of rolled cookie dough.
Allow small boy to combine all the ingredients making sure to use pasteurized egg substitute to ensure that small boy can eat a large portion of raw dough.
Give small boy a bone-shaped cookie cutter (originally designed for dog biscuits). Roll out dough (a large number of times if boy is not too adept at cutting shapes close together).
Transfer cut-out cookies to baking sheet and pour assorted sprinkles and chocolate pieces into small bowls. Allow boy to decorate dog-bone shaped cookies to his satisfaction.
Bake cookies, cool and then allow boy to eat a moderate number of “Scooby-Snacks” (store the remaining cookies).
Reflect that life is good.

sooooo jealous!
Enjoy the scooby-snacks and your perfect little man!
You think that idea would cure my son from licking up the water that has splashed onto the counter because he wants to "pretend" to be a kitty? It sounds a whole lot more sanitary your way.
Oh... scooby snacks sound wonderful! I am slightly jealous as a) you had cookie dough and I don't... and b) you have cookies... that are decorated... again don't have those... may have to resort to baking cookies... such is life isn't it? My diet appreciates all this... actually my emotional well being appreciates it as I'm sure that chocolate rolled cookie dough would be very yummy at this particular moment in time.
